Get Your Track Professionally Mixed—
Pay What You Can.
This offering is about care.
It’s about community.
It’s about making sure we look out for one another.

High-quality sound should be within reach for all of us—not just those with big budgets or industry connections. So through June 1, I’m offering pay-what-you-can mixing and mastering services to marginalized creatives—especially women, queer and trans folks, gender-expansive artists, disabled creatives, and people of color worldwide.
For those who don’t know me, I’m Kia Shavon—also known as The Mix Artist. I’ve been working as an audio engineer since 2009 across music, film, live sound, and education. I’ve mixed for artists around the world—across many genres—and have had the privilege of working with both, big names and rising voices alike.
But there’s something truly special about working with independent artists. The honesty. The vision. The hunger. It’s unmatched.
Everyone deserves to be heard—and to sound their best. Especially with everything going on in the world, it matters that we show up for one another. That’s why I created this offering.
